Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) is a suspension-polymerized thermoplastic bead material synthesized from styrene monomer and impregnated with mixed pentane blowing agent, with the molecular formula (C₈H₈)ₙ. The product is composed of 93.0%–96.0% polystyrene resin (CAS 9003-53-6) and 4.0%–7.0% mixed pentane blowing agent (CAS 109-66-0 and CAS 78-78-4). The precise formula ensures stable foaming consistency, uniform particle activity and reliable batch stability during processing.
Product Performance
EPS possesses superior physical and processing properties after thermal foaming.
