Calcium peroxide appears as a white or slightly yellowish powder, is odorless and tasteless, and is only sparingly soluble in water but soluble in acids. It is a highly stable peroxide; its dry form does not readily decompose at room temperature, but decomposition begins at 275°C. In moist air or water, it can slowly release oxygen over an extended period. Additionally, it possesses strong bleaching, bactericidal, and disinfecting properties and is environmentally safe.

Product Application
Due to its excellent stability, non-toxicity, and ability to generate oxygen over an extended period, calcium peroxide has become a widely used, multifunctional inorganic peroxide. In environmental protection applications, it can be utilized to improve surface water quality, treat wastewater containing heavy metal particles, and mitigate red tides; in agriculture, it is employed for oxygenating plant root systems, biochemically improving soil quality, coating rice seeds, serving as an oxygen fertilizer, or as a component of bio-complex fertilizers; in aquaculture, it acts as an oxygen release agent to increase dissolved oxygen levels in water, regulate water pH, enhance water quality, and eliminate pathogenic bacteria; in food processing, calcium peroxide can be used for preserving food and fruits/vegetables, as a feed additive, for improving dough quality, or for food disinfection; in the metallurgical industry, it is used for phosphorus removal and the extraction of precious metals; in the rubber and chemical industries, it serves as a vulcanizing agent for natural rubber, a hardening/enclosing agent for polysulfide rubber, or an initiator for unsaturated polyester resins; additionally, calcium peroxide can be used in the daily chemical industry as a tooth cleaning agent or a household disinfectant and deodorizer; furthermore, it finds applications in emergency oxygen supply, cigarette manufacturing, and the coatings industry.
Storage Precautions
Oxidizing agent! Store in a dry, clean warehouse with good ventilation. Keep away from sources of ignition, heat, and direct sunlight. Take care to protect against moisture and rain exposure. Ensure the container is tightly sealed and verify that the label is intact and legible. Handle with care during loading and unloading to prevent damage to the packaging or container; ensure that the container pressure is properly released. Transportation is not recommended during rainy weather. Store separately from flammable or combustible materials, reducing agents, sulfur, phosphorus, etc.; avoid mixed storage or transportation. Prevent contact with any substances that may cause the product to decompose.
Usage Instructions
Avoid contact of the product with the eyes, skin, or clothing. Ensure smooth airflow in the surrounding environment during use. Do not ingest; do not inhale dust, mist, or gases. Do not eat or smoke in the workplace. Avoid contact with flammable materials or organic substances. The container shall be labeled; keep the container sealed when not in use. Wash hands and other body parts that have come into contact with the product after use.
Emergency treatment
• Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse thoroughly with plenty of running water.
• Eye exposure: Lift the eyelid and rinse the affected area with running water or saline solution; seek medical attention immediately.
• Inhalation: Immediately move the person from the affected area to a location with fresh air. Keep the airway clear. If the person is having difficulty breathing, administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped, perform artificial respiration immediately and seek medical attention.
• Ingestion: Drink an adequate amount of warm water and seek medical attention; do not induce vomiting.
