Oily Sludge Treatment: It aids in conditioning oily sludge by adjusting pH, altering sludge structure for better dewatering, and reducing odors and pathogens.
6. Equipment Protection
During shutdowns and maintenance, calcium hydroxide slurry may be circulated to neutralize acidic corrosion products and remove scale deposits from the internal surfaces of pipelines and vessels.

Slurry Handling & Scaling: Its low solubility requires use as a slurry. The suspension is prone to scaling and settling, necessitating robust mixing and injection system design to prevent nozzle or pipe blockages.
